I like Brandon Sanderson's idea that fantasy worlds shouldn't be in technological stasis as they often are, but I didn't enjoy the second trilogy of The Mistborn Saga nearly as much as the first. I just enjoyed the setting of the first trilogy more. These are still good books though.
