Fight Club is a film about a man who feels out of place in society and gives everything up to become someone different. Him and a man he meets on a plane called Tyler Durden start a fight club which escalates into a full blow anarchic organisation.

I think the film is very stylishly edited, has some great scenes, punchy lines, great attention to detail and makes a lot of points that probably resonate more today than they did when the film was made. It is deeply anti-consumer, and questions if the world we have found ourselves in is causing us more pain than good.

Almost all the characters are morally grey, but you can relate to them which makes the film very compelling. The twist is great and I didn't see it coming the first time I saw the Fight Club, but upon rewatching you can see all the little details and lines that fit with it. This is some masterful writing that doesn't give away the twist while having it practically in your face for the entire film.

Overall a great film that deserves to be watched.
