An unashamedly over the top fantasy, action, adventure film. It has great pacing, fun fights, and a simple but great storyline. It takes some of the best bits from Robert E. Howard's books while removing a lot of the more problematic elements. The raiding of the serpent tower was reminiscent of The Tower of the Elephant story in particular, which was one of my favourites while reading The Complete Chronicles of Conan. Some of the fight choreography is a little dated but otherwise this has aged really well. I'd absolutely recommend giving this a watch.
