Bloodthief is a fast paced fantasy melee game made by one man. The controls are incredibly tight, the gameplay is fun, the graphics have that early 3D charm and everything oozes with style. It is an all around great game, but really shines near the end when you learn the movement mechanics and have more abilities at your disposal.

I did have a couple of minor issues with the game. These were, the earlier levels looking a bit more rough around the edges compared to the later levels, and there being a few difficulty spikes, but there are really nothing major.

Blargis certainly left the best for the last because the last level felt incredible to play, but I won't say too much more than that. A great little indie game with lots of replayability. I will be coming back to this one to beat my times, find secrets and unlock some of the bonus levels, but I need a break now because this game really tired out my hands. I highly recommend this one.

I would like to see map making tools or mod support added. I think allowing the community to make maps would allow for some really creative levels and could really add a lot to the game.
