Slice & Dice Review

This is a great little rougelike. Imagine fantasy RPG Yatzee and you get Slice & Dice. It is a super simple concept where each side of a dice has different attacks, abilities or sometimes nothing and each character has a dice. Try and get the best roles to beat the encounter. Then you get a reward in either a level to upgrade a character or an item to modify your sides and then go again.

There are a bunch of different modes with different modifiers such as: raid that doubles the party size, loot that removes level up and only gives you items, and a mode where you get to pick whatever character you want instead of the usual random selection. On top of this there is a wide range of difficulties which add curses or boons that can make the runs harder or easier.

I think this game explorers its concept to the full, has about every mode you could want and just works really well. There is even a modding system which I haven't touched yet that looks like it could add a lot to the game. I highly recommend it!
