Website
My website follows the Digital Garden philosophy. It is a place that is constantly evolving and growing. This allows more free form thinking and learning than traditional blogs. Most pages are not final and will change over time as I learn. On each page there are two timestamps, the first when the page was created, and the second when it was last updated.
On many pages you will find tags at the top. Since many ideas on this website are incomplete I use the tags bellow to signify how well formed my pages are.
- Draft - a fledgling idea, thought, opinion, or whatever else is on the page
- Developing - the page is starting to get well formed
- Developed - the page has the main ideas I want behind it but may still be updated
- None of the Above - this may be a linking page or one that I don't intend to develop too much more
How the Website Was Made
I use Obsidian to write all of my notes. Obsidian has a plugin called Digital Garden which uses Github and Vercel to store and host the website. It's actually pretty simple to set up and if you follow the Digital Garden getting started page I think anyone with a basic knowledge of computers could do it.
